What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They allow the site to remember certain information about your visit — for example, your preferences or whether you have seen a particular notice before.
Cookies do not contain personal information by themselves, but they may be associated with personal data we hold about you if you have submitted an enquiry. We do not use cookies for advertising.
Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies — Always active. These are required for the website to function and cannot be disabled.
- Session management (keeps your browser session active)
- Security tokens (protect against cross-site request forgery)
- Cookie consent storage (remembers your preference so we do not ask again)
Analytics Cookies — Optional. Used to understand how visitors use our site, so we can improve it.
- Pages visited and session duration
- Referral source (how you arrived at our site)
- Browser type and device category
Marketing Cookies — Optional. We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy.
Preference Cookies — Optional. Used to remember settings that affect how the site appears or behaves for you.
Third-Party Cookies
If analytics are enabled, we may use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure site usage. Google Analytics data is aggregated and anonymised; it is governed by Google's own privacy policy. We do not share your personal data with Google for advertising purposes.
We do not use social media tracking pixels or advertising network cookies.
Cookie Duration
- Session cookies — deleted automatically when you close your browser.
- Consent preference cookie — persists for 12 months so we do not repeat the prompt on each visit.
- Analytics cookies — typically persist for up to 13 months (Google Analytics default).
